Manhattan-born Ulla Johnson has dedicated
her life to creating artefacts of her own.
Since founding her namesake label in 1988,
the designer has become known for her
attention to detail as well as for shapely,
voluminous silhouettes like that of the
Ondine dress. Whipped up in sumptuously
soft cotton, the midi is surrounded by a swirl
of tiered ruffles beginning at a strikingly
asymmetric shoulder and finishing at the A-
line hem.
