Operations & Marketing Intern



By Rotation is looking for a full-time placement year intern to join our team working from our head office. This is an opportunity to work for the most game-changing fashion app in Europe and the USA.

By Rotation is the world’s first social network for renting fashion. By connecting a community of style-conscious and pragmatic individuals, you can rent and lend your wardrobe, thereby saving the planet.

We are currently looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic Operations & Marketing Intern. This role would be perfect for someone who is extremely organised, proactive, friendly and sociable. As a fast-moving tech startup operating in the fashion space, fashion is not necessary although a clear interest is required.

Operations:

  • Work alongside Senior Community & Brand Manager to grow existing and new VIP and brand relationships
  • Manage VIP wardrobes, ensuring the items are kept organised and ready to rent
  • Assist researching and onboarding new wardrobes to our managed wardrobe
  • Work in the By Rotation pop-up store (some weekend work required)
  • Assist with press loans, working alongside our PR Team to ensure items are sent out promptly
  • General office maintenance, ensuring it remains well organised
  • Keep track and send out rentals from in-app requests
  • Assist with customer support queries
  • Manage in-app admin, ensuring high levels of communication are kept with users on the app
  • Organise stock rotation between the warehouse, office and storage

    • Marketing:

  • Participate and assist in social content for both TikTok and Instagram
  • Assist in the planning and organising of community events and partnerships

    • You are:

  • In your second year of university looking to take part in a placement year with a forward-facing company within the fashion industry
  • Passionate about sustainable fashion and the future of the industry
  • Strong in communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • A social media user with a passion for both TikTok and Instagram
  • Comfortable being in front of the camera
  • Flexible and positive can-do attitude
