The dress has been professionally taken up slightly, making it ideal for those around 5 foot 4 inches. It is also shorter in the middle. I'm 5 foot 4 and wore it with 2.6-inch heels. If you're shorter, I'd recommend wearing higher heels to help keep the hem off the ground and protect the dress during wear.
