Polka Dot Strappy Midi Dress

Although a few years old now, this black and white polka dot midi dress from Karen Millen is timeless. A hint of sexy with side slit and strappy back, the dress is demure enough for a wedding, garden party or formal event. I've found it a "neutral" staple dress, because it goes with anything and just switch up accessories. The diagonal change in the polka dot pattern around the tummy area is a great illusion for hiding buffet bloat.

I had the under-slip (built into the skirt) of this dress altered as the slit showed the slip (you can see what I mean in the model picture compared tome)!
