Clarice Silk-Velvet Dress

Sold out in stores - Bias-cut, fitted bodice, drapes below – forgiving and flattering even on the stomach. Dress it up with heels for Christmas parties, autumn and winter weddings, Halloween or New Year's Eve. Dress it down with a thin black roll neck underneath and chunky or knee-high boots – perfect for Sunday lunch. Fit: I'm a large 12 and it fits me well; it would also suit a small 10. I wouldn't advise a 14 to risk it. Any questions please ask!

The Marlice is one of those dresses that looks beautifully considered but is actually incredibly easy to wear. Cut in RIXO’s signature bias shape, it falls softly from the underbust and moves beautifully as you walk. The little satin bow at the waist is such a pretty detail, with delicate lace edging around the V neck and sleeves.

It’s unlined for a lovely light, non restrictive feel and the adjustable waist tie lets you get the fit just right. The kind of dress that works for weddings, dinners, date nights or a more dressed up occasion depending on how you style it.

Harlan lace-trimmed sequined tulle halterneck midi dress

The Clarice is a gorgeous steel blue velvet style with a real vintage feel. The rich velvet catches the light beautifully, while the delicate lace V neck adds just the right amount of romance. The bias cut skims the body and the adjustable waist tie lets you tweak the fit.

It’s a really versatile occasion dress too. Add heels, statement earrings and a clutch for a more glamorous look, or keep accessories simple for something a little more understated. Perfect for weddings, black tie, Christmas parties, dinners and special occasions.
