Proper 1980s party dress with full 80s drama. Ruched off-the-shoulder bodice in black brocade shot through with gold lamé and burgundy floral metallic threads, knotted at the sweetheart centre for that unmistakeable Dynasty-era silhouette. Nipped into a body-skimming black velvet mini skirt that hits just above the knee. The contrast between the opulent metallic top and matte velvet below is what makes it: rich, theatrical, built for candlelight. Think Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve, black-tie with a sense of humour. Fits a modern UK 8-10.

This purple maxi-dress has a unique satin flower-embellishment detail on the front right shoulder, providing an asymmetrical look to the rest of the dress. There is a slit on the right showing some leg and a beautiful shoe, if desired. The open upper back provides a lovely show of skin, whilst the front remains fairly modest.

I am 5ft9, size UK 8, and it fits perfectly with good length for me. Can be worn with a strapless bra. I wore a 32DD strapless bra in the photos and it fit well.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. It’s very long-I’m 5’ and would need to wear 6-8” heels with it. I haven’t tried taping the hem but it would likely work. It was made in Hawaii and is true vintage.

Unique Hawaiian floral 1960s vintage gown

I bought this dress in San Francisco. It’s in amazing condition and an absolute showstopper. It’s not completely backless but very low backed, however the built in bra is actually pretty great. I’m about 5’ and have to wear 4”+ heels with it, but if you’re very tall it won’t be floor length.

Ian Stuart - The Collection Wedding Dress. Has a long train and a stunning corset back. Sequins and beads adorn the whole dress. It’s vintage and is extremely coveted, needs to be well looked after, certainly one of a kind. Flattering corset.

I am just over 5”7 so this dress would be good for 5”7 or 5”8 depending on shoe. Bust size I am a 30DD but as a corset back it will fit a range of bust sizes. 

ANY beads or sequins will be taken care of, as I sew and can make sure it’s in the best condition before being sent off.
