Watermelon Straw Clutch

Vintage Italian metallic orange clutch. Made in Italy during the late 1980s / 1990s.
Flower brooch center piece, amber-orange central stone ringed by sparkling rhinestones. Its classic ruched silhouette offers a soft yet structured shape, complete with a twisted gold-tone chain strap that can be tucked inside.
*Perfect to carry your essentials
* Tuckable gold-tone twisted chain strap
*Very good condition. The clutch is beautifully preserved, Minor age-appropriate wear on the edges and the metallic orange color is slightly worn off in some places as expected with vintage.

In the 1970s the magazine clutch was created as a design aesthetic to deter pickpockets and has been an icon ever since. 

This 90s version by Paparazzi Milan in form of a Gardening magazine is fun , colourful and perfect for summer events.

The clutch is made from a bespoke plastic  mould. It is finished with the addition of a belt strap and is fully lined inside in yellow.
