A lightweight, feminine gown with diamond keyhole cut outs, exaggerated blouson sleeves and hand stitched embroidered 3D butterfly trims at the collar, bodice and sleeves. The crinoline hem and nature of silk linen organza gives the gown buoyancy as it moves down the runway. The fabric artwork is based on ‘Millettia Pinnata’ by Ellis Rowan from ‘The Flower Hunter’ by Patricia Fullerton, National Library of Australia.
