Vintage early 1960s gold brocade cocktail dress featuring a classic boat neckline, shoulder lingerie loops with snap button closures designed to keep bra straps discreetly in place, sculpted darted bodice, fitted waist, and metallic jacquard woven with bamboo-inspired leaf motifs and stylized cloud scrolls. Fully lined with either rayon or acetate popularly used during this era and original Hellman Hong Kong textile label hidden in the dress.
