Calling back to the eponymous founder’s iconic hooded creations (who can forget Grace Jones in the hooded bandage dress?), the striking silhouette of this Alaïa maxi dress designed by Creative Director Pieter Mulier is just one of many SS24 pieces that honour the house’s legacy. Cut from a stretch-infused fabric and shaped with a draping cape that leads to a flared hem, it’s topped with a playful hood that adds an element of easy, wearability.

Alaïa's midi dress is made from cozy chenille that has an incredibly plush handle, so it's perfect for days when you want a little comfort while still looking chic. It has a wide, fold-over strapless neckline and figure-hugging fit. 

Size FR38/UK10 but in my opinion Alaia fits small. Having said that, the dress has stretch in it, so it would be perfect for someone expecting a baby too.
